Here goes nothing.

I have been getting more and more frustrated with the state of affairs in our once great nation.  For about 100 years the government has become a monstrous, completely out-of-control spending machine, ever hungry for more tax revenue.

Government is a necessary entity, but it must at all times be restrained - this is exactly the point of our Constitution - to restrain government.  Sadly, many Americans have lost sight of the fact that we are in fact a Constitutional Republic, a nation bound by our laws, and the Constitution being the primary basis for those laws.

My objective here, this being my first ever blog posting (though I have been very outspoken on facebook as "Conservatives Rising"), is to rally Patriots around our nation, to promote the restoration of American values, and to raise the awareness of those still not paying attention.

Bubblehead Patriot.  You may ask, "what is a bubblehead patriot?"  Well, I am, naturally.  A Bubblehead - a slang term for a Submariner (please pronounce this as "submarine" with an "er" on the end.  The British like to pronounce it as "sub" - "mariner", which to an American Bubblehead sounds like a Mariner that is not quite up to par.....).   The Patriot part I'm sure you get, though, if you don't please follow this blog, I'm sure you'll catch on.

So, here goes nothing.  I hope you tune in from time to time, I tend to have much to say.  It won't always be about American politics, but much of it will.  I'm sure I'll have plenty to say about the New England Patriots, the Red Sox, firearms, cooking, faith, and many other interesting subjects.
